Do you understand one another when discussing cases? Do you use similar terminology? Does your laboratory contact you when there is a question or problem with a case? Does your laboratory understand and fulfill your preferences regarding case fabrication?
Capability - Does your laboratory fabricate all cases on site or do they subcontract out some services? Are the technicians knowledgeable and available to speak with you regarding cases? Is your laboratory able to accommodate complicated or unusual cases?
Service -
Are cases reliably picked-up and delivered? Are cases completed as promised or are you always rescheduling patients? When you call to check on a case, do you receive a prompt, complete response?
Quality - "Good enough, isn't!" How does your dental laboratory define quality? Does your laboratory have quality inspections built into their production process? Do cases receive the individual attention they need or is one treated just like any other? Does your laboratory seek and welcome feedback, both good and bad, about their restorations? What does your laboratory do with the feedback information?
